Your arrival
Check in is from 4pm onwards. We kindly out you to check out by 10am, so we can prepare the cabin for our next guests.
Your Stay at the Cabin
A unique feature of our cabins are the king size beds nestled in the mezzanine lofts. Due to their location, they're only accessible via a steep wooden ladder. Our homepage gallery shows a photo of a ladder - please refer to the image to gage whether you'd be comfortable using it.
There are only two other cabins nearby, meaning you'll have a maximum of four neighbours (not including roe deer, foxes, owls and badgers, of course!). The cabins are roughly 70 metres apart - with a discreet parking area - for excellent privacy and peace of mind.
Don't forget good books, good wine, good food, and good company if you're planning a cosy cabin hideaway - or wellies, outdoor gear, bikes and paddleboards to explore outdoors!
We provide all firewood and kindling for the outdoor fireplace and indoor wood burner, to create warm, memorable nights. There are to be no open flames for everyone's safety: the cabins are wooden and situated on the edge of a forest, so please bear this in mind.
There is limited mobile signal and limited 4G at Mount Freedom. To fully embrace woodland tranquility, our cabins are not fitted with TVs or WiFi, but there are portable DVD players available.
We encourage all guests to maintain a respectful distance from other cabins, to ensure everyone gets the idyllic retreat they've been looking forward to.
For everyone's health and safety, we take a zero tolerance approach to smoking at Mount Freedom.
Restful Sleep
Enjoy restful evenings and refreshed mornings in our luxurious king size beds, complete with sea views, accessed by a wooden ladder.
Pets
There is space for up to two well behaved dogs for £20 each. If needed, we can provide towels and water bowls for your furry friends too.
Culinary Delights
Your cabin has a fully equipped kitchen complete with oven, hob, fridge freezer, glasses, crockery, cutlery and utensils (perfect for preparing some fresh, local produce - or maybe just a dram on the rocks).
We can set up a Weber Kettle BBQ with all the tools and charcoal for just £10, and we'll even clean it for you afterwards. BBQs are payable on arrival, so no need to enquire in advance.
Freshening Up
Outside, sink into our beautiful outdoor baths. Inside, you'll find a shower, flushing toilet, sink, complimentary bathroom toiletries, and gowns.
Warmth and Light
Enjoy sumptuous bed linen and towels, as well as a wood burner, electric heating and lights, and plug/USB sockets.
Entertainment for Everyone
Each cabin has classic games, books, bluetooth speakers, a radio, and a portable DVD player with a selection of DVDs - ideal for switching off and indulging in some real relaxation.
There is a tennis court available, and rackets and balls we can lend if you don't have your own. Trainers must be worn on the court at all times.
